Chandigarh, India: A growing number of Indian women are rediscovering their health and confidence through a unique fitness approach developed by Dr. Jyoti Srivastava. Through her platform, Fitness Funda With Jyoti, she has created a sustainable and practical wellness model designed specifically for Indian women balancing multiple roles in their daily lives.
A Personal Journey That Inspired a Movement
Dr. Jyoti Srivastava’s journey began with a deeply personal realization. Originally a software engineer, she was managing several responsibilities as a mother, wife, and daughter-in-law. While fulfilling these roles, she gradually lost focus on her own health and well-being.
On June 4, 2018, she made a conscious decision to reclaim her health and identity. After obtaining professional certifications in fitness and health, she began studying different global fitness methods. During this phase, she observed that many Western formats such as Zumba workouts and restrictive crash diets often do not align with Indian body types, hormonal patterns, traditional diets, or demanding daily schedules.
This understanding led her to design “FunDa,” a practical fitness philosophy built around simplicity, sustainability, and Indian lifestyle habits.
From a Small Home Initiative to a Nationwide Women’s Community
The initiative started modestly, with Dr. Srivastava training a few women in her neighbourhood from her home. Instead of expensive gym equipment, she encouraged the use of everyday household items to perform effective workouts.
When digital platforms became widely adopted during 2020, the initiative expanded online. This transition helped the platform reach women across different parts of India and develop a dedicated women-only community focused on holistic well-being.
Today, the initiative has supported more than 10,000 women in their health transformation journeys, helping them improve not only physical fitness but also emotional resilience and mental strength.
Celebrating 10,000+ Success Stories of Indian Women
The platform is currently celebrating a significant milestone of over 10,000 success stories from women who have improved their health naturally through structured programs and community support.
These transformations go beyond weight loss. Many participants report improvements in hormonal balance, energy levels, mental well-being, and overall lifestyle habits. The focus remains on long-term health rather than short-term results.
Launch of the 2026 Digital Health Mission
Building on this milestone, the initiative is launching its 2026 Digital Health Mission, centred on the concept of “Disease Reversal Naturally.”
The mission aims to support women dealing with common hormonal and metabolic health conditions such as PCOS, thyroid imbalance, diabetes, and postpartum health challenges.
The program encourages women to follow simple yet consistent habits, including 20-minute home workouts, balanced Indian meals such as roti, rice, and dal, and lifestyle adjustments that support long-term wellness instead of extreme dieting or dependency on gym memberships.
The “SuperWomen” Community Event
Recently, the platform hosted an exclusive offline “SuperWomen” community event, bringing together women from various parts of India. The gathering focused on holistic healing rather than conventional fitness sessions.
Participants engaged in emotional healing discussions, mindset-building workshops, and live storytelling sessions where women shared their personal experiences of overcoming health challenges such as PCOS, thyroid imbalance, and postpartum depression.
The event highlighted the journey of many participants who transitioned from feeling overwhelmed in their daily roles to rediscovering confidence and self-belief. It reinforced the idea that true transformation includes emotional and psychological strength along with physical fitness.
A Fitness Philosophy Designed for Indian Women
The programs developed by Dr. Srivastava are built around practicality and inclusivity. The workouts require no gym equipment and often utilise common household items, making fitness accessible to women across different backgrounds.
The routines typically require 20 to 50 minutes a day, making them manageable for busy mothers and working professionals. Nutrition guidance also focuses on traditional Indian home-style meals rather than restrictive foreign diet patterns.
The approach prioritises hormone health and sustainable habits, addressing conditions such as PCOS, thyroid disorders, diabetes, postpartum recovery, and menopause while encouraging long-term lifestyle improvements.
Encouraging Women to Prioritise Their Health
Through her work, Dr. Jyoti Srivastava aims to spread a clear message — that every Indian woman deserves to prioritise her health and well-being.
Her mission encourages women to dedicate just 20 minutes a day to their physical and emotional wellness. With the right guidance, supportive community, and sustainable routines, women can restore hormonal balance, regain confidence, and reconnect with their personal goals.
The growing community continues to inspire women who may feel stuck, low on energy, or uncertain about managing health conditions such as PCOS or thyroid imbalance.
