Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have officially divorced. This was Dhanashree’s first public appearance in Mumbai after the separation. During the event, paparazzi attempted to get her reaction regarding the divorce, but she seemed to avoid commenting on the matter.
Dhanashree was at the T-Series office to promote her new music video. While posing for the paparazzi, she was asked if she wanted to say anything about her divorce from Chahal. In response, she simply smiled and gestured “no.” She then told the media, “Listen to the song first.”

Notably, Chahal and Dhanashree’s divorce was finalized on March 20—the same day her new music video was released. The song’s lyrics seemingly hint at her husband’s alleged extramarital affairs.
Additionally, she shared a cryptic Instagram post with the caption “Life imitating art.” This has led fans to speculate that the song subtly reveals the real reason behind their divorce.
Chahal and Dhanashree first became friends during the COVID-19 pandemic when Chahal approached her for dance lessons. Their friendship soon turned into love, leading to their marriage on December 11, 2020. However, after two and a half years, they began living separately in 2022.
