Crowds Gather at Ambaji Temple
Gujaratis often begin their festivals by visiting temples, especially the temples of Mother Goddess. On Dev Diwali, devotees flocked to Ambaji Temple from early morning, where they took part in the morning aarti (prayer ritual). The temple echoed with the chants of “Bol Maadi Ambe… Jai Jai Ambe,” creating an enchanting atmosphere. Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi shared glimpses of the celebration on social media, extending warm Dev Diwali wishes to all.
Devotees at Chotila Temple
In addition to Ambaji, the Chotila pilgrimage site in Surendranagar district witnessed large gatherings of devotees. Worshippers paid homage to Chamunda Mata, marking the start of their Dev Diwali celebrations. The temple was filled with joy and energy, with devotees arriving from early morning to seek blessings from the goddess.
Blessings at Shamlaji Temple
In Dakor’s Shamlaji Temple, too, a significant number of devotees arrived to celebrate Dev Diwali. The sight of devotees gathering in large numbers for darshan filled the temple with a divine ambiance, allowing people to start the festival on a spiritually fulfilling note.
