Surat: Under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, Nehru Yuva Kendra-Surat and My Bharat-Surat celebrated Constitution Day on 26th November with great enthusiasm. The celebrations included various programs held at Aspire Public School-Varachha, J.Z. Shah College-Amroli, and the Dumping Station (South Zone).
Event Highlights:
The event featured activities such as a quiz competition, seminars, a rally, a cleanliness drive, and a medical camp. Over 250 young participants enthusiastically joined these programs. The significance of Constitution Day and the contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and other members of the Constituent Assembly were shared with all attendees.
In the quiz competition, the top three winners were awarded prizes to encourage their participation. Volunteers from My Bharat-Surat’s Revolution Club, in collaboration with the Surat Municipal Corporation, facilitated the issuance of government scheme cards such as Ayushman Card, Abha Card, and E-Shram Card, benefiting several individuals.
The event witnessed the presence of Aspire Public School Principal Mr. Krunal Rajput, J.Z. Shah College Principal, teaching staff, medical teams, and cleanliness workers from Surat Municipal Corporation.
Under the guidance of Nehru Yuva Kendra-Surat District Youth Officer Mr. Sachin Sharma, participants took an oath to follow the principles of the Constitution. The programs were managed and coordinated by National Youth Volunteers Gaurav Padaya, Mehul Donga, Jayvik Rayani, and Ujjwal Parmar.
