200 Needy Individuals, Including 100 Men and 100 Women, Receive Clothes Distributed by the MLA
Surat: A clothing distribution program was organized in Kumkotor village of Mahuva Taluka under the presence of MLA Mohanbhai Dhodiya. Aligned with the directions from the recent Chintan Shibir led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the event witnessed the distribution of clothes to 200 needy individuals—100 men and 100 women—by the hands of the MLA.
The program, aimed specifically at the development of tribal communities, was broadcast online. A specially prepared video showcasing the Vastra Prasad Seva initiative was also presented.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Mohanbhai Dhodiya highlighted the importance of the Vanbandhu Yojana, introduced by then-Chief Minister Narendra Modi, which has served as a lifeline for the holistic development of tribal areas. He emphasized that the state government has effectively implemented several welfare schemes for tribal groups, and this program reflects the spirit of service and social solidarity. Such initiatives, he stated, not only improve the lives of tribal communities but also encourage their active participation in the broader development journey.
The event was graced by Taluka Panchayat President Shilaben Patel, Mamlatdar Umeshbhai Patel, Taluka Development Officer, and a large number of villagers.
