Surat: An art exhibition themed “Developed India @2047” was inaugurated by Dr. R. C. Gadhvi, the Registrar of VNSGU, as a joint initiative of the Central Bureau of Communication and Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU). Organized by the Central Bureau of Communication under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India and VNSGU, the exhibition will be open to the residents of Surat free of charge from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM until October 23 at the Shrimad Rajchandra Prayer Hall.
On this occasion, the Registrar emphasized that the youth should commit to realizing the vision of a developed India. He mentioned that the information presented in the exhibition could serve as a topic for research. He also shared his experiences regarding India’s development.
The exhibition showcases various welfare schemes aimed at building a developed India, contributions from different sectors, and other relevant information. Additionally, the Employment Exchange Office and the Postal Department are providing visitors with information about their services. To enhance student participation, various competitions were held in the Law and Life Sciences departments, and winners were awarded prizes and certificates. A “Pledge Selfie Booth” was also set up for young urbanites to take selfies.
On this occasion, a tree plantation drive was conducted under the initiative “One Tree, One Name” in the university campus. Amrutbhai Soneri and Roshanbhai Patel worked hard to make the exhibition a success. The program was outlined by Regional Publicity Officer Indravadan Singh Jhala.
