CBSE Students’ Holi Gift: No Problem if You Miss the Board Exam on March 15, Special Exam Will Be Held

CBSE Board Exam 2025 Important Notice: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has provided a “Holi gift” to students preparing for the board exams. With Holi falling on March 15, some students were concerned about missing their exams. To alleviate this worry, CBSE has announced the arrangement of a “special exam” for those students.

Holi will be celebrated in different parts of the country on March 14 and 15, causing confusion among students. In fact, the CBSE Class 12 Hindi (Main and Elective) exam is scheduled for March 15. However, due to Holi celebrations in various regions, many students were anxious. In response, CBSE has made an important decision. The board clarified that the exam on March 15 will be held as scheduled, but students who are unable to attend due to Holi will be given another opportunity. These students can appear for a special exam at a later date.

According to CBSE regulations, a special exam is held each year for students participating in national or international competitions. This year, CBSE has decided that students who miss the exam on March 15 due to Holi will be allowed to take the special exam. The board has instructed all schools to inform Class 12 students of this decision so they can make the necessary arrangements.
