As the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exams for the year 2025 approach, students are busy preparing to perform their best. Alongside their preparation, students are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the exam timetable to get subject-wise date information. According to reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the timetable for these board exams by the end of this month or in December 2024.
Exams Likely to Start From February 15, 2025
As per the available information, the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams are expected to begin on February 15, 2025. Last year, the Class 10 board exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while the Class 12 exams took place from February 15 to April 2, 2024.
75% Attendance Mandatory to Appear for the Exams
CBSE has announced that more than 44 lakh students have registered for the High School and Intermediate exams this year. However, students must maintain at least 75% attendance in their schools to be eligible to sit for the exams. Exceptions will be made only for special circumstances or medical emergencies, as stated by the board.
CCTV Surveillance in Exam Halls
To ensure a fair and cheating-free examination process, CBSE has directed all examination halls to be equipped with CCTV cameras. These cameras will be connected to a control room for real-time monitoring, preventing any malpractice during the exams.
Students are advised to keep an eye on the official CBSE website for the latest updates regarding the timetable and other exam-related guidelines.
