A major controversy has erupted over the shifting of the idols of Lord Lakshminarayan and Ghanshyam Maharaj from the Shri Lakshminarayan temple in Mahuva, Bhavnagar, at midnight. This action has sparked outrage among the Surat Satsang community, leading to a direct challenge to Swami Nityaswaroopdas.

Why Were Only Lakshminarayan and Ghanshyam Maharaj’s Idols Moved?

The Satsang community has raised a crucial question: If the idol relocation was in accordance with proper rituals, why were the idols of Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, and Lord Shiva not also moved? If the procedure was correct and in line with the scriptures, the entire temple’s idols should have been relocated, they argue.

Public Demand for Clarification and Apology

The Satsang community has demanded that Swami Nityaswaroopdas offer a public explanation for the relocation of the idols. They have requested that the reasons behind the decision be clarified according to the established scriptural guidelines and rituals. If no satisfactory explanation is provided, the community expects a public apology from the swami.

Warning of Protests in 8 Days

The Surat Satsang community has issued an ultimatum, stating that if Swami Nityaswaroopdas does not apologize within the next eight days, a large protest will be organized at the Gadhada temple. Furthermore, if the swami can prove his claims to be valid, the community will show respect by offering him salutations. However, if no satisfactory response is given, the only option left for the swami will be to apologize.

This issue has become a hot topic of discussion within the Satsang community, and if no resolution is reached in the next eight days, the dispute could intensify further.
